The CPU works ... somehow.
A major issue are the cheap breadboards (and possibly too high AWG wires). The entire setup is all buggy and there are loose contacts everywhere.
In retrospect the project was not about the final product. The entire project showed me that CPUs aren't just about magic. Although I admit that having it as a displayable trophy would indeed be an awesome thing.
If I decide to continue the projet I will do so on actual soldered circuit boards. It would be a great way to practice with KiCAD.
